1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Better4tech ("Better4tech", "we", "us" or "our"). 2. Our services
We provide website management, maintenance, speed optimization, security, bug fixing, SEO support and related services for platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and GoHighLevel.
The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for your project are described in the quote, proposal or agreement we agree with you (your "Service Agreement"). If your Service Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Service Agreement applies.
3. Quotes and pricing
We work on an hourly or fixed-price basis. Your quote states which applies, what's included and how long the quote is valid. Work outside the agreed scope is billed separately, and we'll confirm it with you before we start.
4. Payments
- Invoices are due by the date shown on the invoice.
- Recurring plans are billed in advance for each billing period until they are cancelled.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it's paid.
- Prices don't include taxes unless stated. You're responsible for any taxes that apply.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms for each project are set out in your Service Agreement. You can cancel a recurring plan at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you think you've been charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it promptly.
6. Your responsibilities
To help us deliver good work, you agree to:
- Give us accurate information and timely feedback, content and approvals.
- Make sure you own, or have the right to use, all content, themes, plugins and licenses you provide or ask us to install.
- Keep your own copy of your website and data, unless backups are included in your plan.
- Tell us about any legal or compliance requirements that apply to your website.
7. Access to your accounts
To do the work, you may give us access to your website, hosting, domain or other accounts. We use that access only for the agreed services and keep your login details confidential. We recommend creating a dedicated account for us, which you can change or remove at any time. You're responsible for your accounts and for the activity of anyone else you give access to.
8. Third-party platforms and plugins
Your website relies on platforms, hosting, themes and plugins made by other companies. Their updates, outages, pricing or policy changes can affect your website. We take reasonable care when making changes, but we're not responsible for problems caused by third-party products or services, which are covered by their own terms and licenses.
9. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your website, content and data. Once you've paid in full, you own the custom work we create specifically for you, except our pre-existing tools and know-how and any third-party components, which remain subject to their own licenses.
